Pastry Cook/Baker

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Pastry Chef and Pastry Sous Chef with all tasks related to the daily production of breads, Viennoiserie and pastry
  • Maintain cleanliness of all workstations
  • Adhere to all Dept. of Health regulations and health and hygiene standards as set forth in the employee handbook

Requirements

  • Pastry certificate or degree from a reputable institution
  • Willing to work bakery hours (early mornings)
  • Basic experience with the following or desire to learn: Bread, Viennoiserie, Choux, Sponges, Short crusts, Mousses, creams and fillings, Entremets, Macarons, Confiserie, Chocolate work, etc.
